TAIRVLYN: nappy changing & fathers

We went to Jusco (QBay mall) on Sunday. There was a baby fair going on in Jusco. In conjuction with the baby fair, there is a baby photography contest organized by Jusco. One section of the baby's department was converted into a mini-studio where they will dress your baby up and take professional studio shots of yr baby. We were quite tempted to enter the contest just for the fun of it, but Rachel wasn't really in a smily mood that night...so decided not to...

Besides the photography contest, they also had some games and other contests. So happen when we were there, they were just about to begin the "nappy-folding contest". The emcee was asking for volunteers to participate, it was only for fathers! What the father had to do is to fold a cloth nappy (yes those traditional white, cloth lampin) and then wear the lampin on the baby and secure it with a nappy fastener. they will be judged based on how neat and well the nappy is folded and how well it is worn on the baby (whether it's fastened properly, etc....) . it sounded quite fun..so i bugged tairven to enter coz i knew he wld do a good job :)

so he sportingly agreed and volunteered. he took his time to fold the lampin, then i passed rachel to him, but the moment he put rachel on the mat, she turned over and started crawling away! hahahhaa... so had to catch her and place her back onto the mat again. had to distract her while tairven wore the lampin for her.
and guess what? tairven won! hehehehe... yippee! and the prize? an Anakku hamper!
i'm so proud of my man! and i'm sure Rachel is proud of her papa! yeah!
