Day 10 & 11

July 2nd & 3rd Wed & Thur
Nothing much…the days went by pretty fast coz we were all so tied up solving issues throughout the day. For once, I am not complaining about being busy…at least it keeps me occupied and the days fly by much faster, which means weekend is drawing nearer! Yippee!!

Wed night our client took us out to eat the famous Ipoh “nga choy kai” at Lou Wong for dinner. Food was good, serving was huge. I’m not a big fan of “pek chiam kei” (can’t stand the skin and the fatty parts) so to me the chicken was so-so only. But I loved the koay teow….the texture was fine and just right! the taugeh and the fishball soup was yummy too!

Thus night we went out with a colleague who was back in Ipoh (she’s on maternity leave). She took us out to this food court in Ipoh Garden where they had such a huge variety of hawker food! We got excited and started ordering all kinds of food to share. When the food came one by one, we realized that we might have ordered too much!! Hehe…. Let’s see…here’s what we ordered: fried sotong, fried “heh khor”, 2 types of shellfish cooked with some yummylicious sauce, satay, roast duck, chee cheong fun, popiah, beef noodles soup and claypot chicken rice!! Wah… we were so stuffed and we cldnt finish the claypot rice!! We definitely need to go on a diet tmr!
