Day 7

Had the day off today. Praise God :)
We were in the office until 2am yday….so the day off is really a blessing. The best part is I get to go to church! Attended church service in DUMC at 10am together with Lu and Carol. Finally I get to visit DreamCenter (that’s the name of DUMC’s new building)… I’ve heard so much about it. wow, the place is huge. Very impressive. But more importantly the service was good! Worship was awesome……God’s presence was strongly felt…there was 1 particular song that touched my heart.....Consuming Fire. The words were so meaningful...tears cldnt stop flowing as we sang this song…God was indeed present! It was such a renewing and refreshing experience. I later found out that the song was actually written by one of their own church member. Ps Dr Daniel Ho (he is the Senior Pastor of DUMC) preached about Faith, Healing and Wholeness (Heb 11:1-6). The sermon was pretty good...i didn’t realize that he was preaching for more than an hour already! It certainly didn’t feel like an hour has gone by. That was how good the sermon is! Hehe. There was an altar call at the end of service, many went up for healing (physical, emotional, mental), and for salvation. I tell you, it was such an invigorating, refreshing, and renewing experience. Definitely the highlight of the week! J
Church ended past 12pm. Headed to 1U. Had lunch at Carls Jr. goodness, the burger is huge... really huge….but it’s really good…and I just love the fries…yummy yummy fries… now, how I wish they would open a branch in Pg! hahaha. after lunch we went jalan jalan. Carol wanted to shop for winter clothing… I managed to buy clothes for myself, and for Rachel. After that, we headed to Starbucks. I wanted to use the free wi-fi. We found a small cosy corner and I had a video conf with tairv and Rachel. My darling girl just woke up from her nap…..so cute… and to see her smile at me and call me “mama” ….that’s another highlight for the week! Then we decided to go catch a movie in the evening. Went to summit,usj to watch “Wanted”. Movie was not too bad. Some of the effects and stunts were pretty cool, the storyline was ok…but it was pretty gory coz lots of killing and lots of blood! Uggh!
So that was how my Sunday flew by…..
