hubby's new toy
hubby recently purchased a new "toy".......no prizes for guessing what it is! haha...
its a brand new camera.... the long-awaited Nikon D90...a mid-range SLR...

hubby's been eyeing this camera for a long long time, the moment it was released, he made his way to the shop to check it out! unfortunately there was no stock left (yup! it was snapped up like hotcakes the moment it arrived...apparently many customers already paid a booking fee for it, so when the camera arrived, they just took and go!)
so why is this camera so popular among photography-enthusiasts?
according to hubby, it has a lot of features that can only be found in high-end range cameras (those that cost 10k and above) for eg. it is fast (can shoot 4.5frames per second), low noise, blah blah blah. (the rest of the terms are just to technical for me to understand!! haha)
oh..and another plus point is that it is capable of taking high-definition video which SLR cameras is not capable of doing in the past.
hubby says we need a camera fast enough to snap photos of rachel...she's so mobile and moves faster than the old camera can focus! that's one of the main reason why he bought this camera..because of its SPEED!
anyways, nothing could stop him from buying this camera...and ever since he bought it, he's been shooting nonstop! haha....and he is so pleased with the outcome of the photos now and i have to admit that they are really good! :)
below are some photos taken with the D90... (actually only 2 photos la. i malas to upload the rest la...anyway, whatever photos that will be uploaded in future will be those that is taken with the D90!)
family photo :) (it used to be pretty difficult to take a proper family photo coz rachel can never stay still for a photo shoot!)
this is something we cant capture with the old camera...rachel wiggling her fingers :)btw, if you know of anyone that might be interested in purchasing a 2nd hand Fuji S6500 FD camera, give us a buzz. still in execellent condition (no scratches, no dents, etc), 1 year 10 months old, about 6500shots. it takes pretty good photos, nice colours. here's a picture of the Fuji camera. THANKS!
