TAIRVLYN: Lyn's 28th birthday

yes, i turn 28 this year...had 2 celebrations this year.... one was a birthday surprise by the CG and the other was birthday celebration with family.

1) since i was going to be away on the actual day itself (29th nov - darling and i will be in turkey for a vacation), our CG decided to spring a surprise for me 1 week before my birthday. I actually had to attend a colleague's wedding dinner in SP that Sat night together with Win & Shane. Tairven was suppose to stay home and baby-sit Rachel instead of going for CG that night. we came back from the dinner quite late (past 11pm), and when i opened the door, everyone started singing "happy birthday" and my darling was right in front holding the birthday cake. so pleasantly surprised to see the CG there and even more surprised to see my parents there (they just arrived back in Pg from an evangelical conference in Johor, so i thought they'd be heading straight home after a long 9 hour journey on the bus). Then i found out that the CG actually met at our place that night! haha.... what a pleasant surprise...to all my CG members, thank you for the lovely surprise and of course special thanks to my darling husband who was the "mastermind" behind the idea...muax.

2) we had a belated birthday celebration with my family after we came back from our vacation in Turkey. Went for dinner at Tsuraya Japanese restaurant at i-Avenue. nice place, great food and wonderful time spent with family. Rachel was busy eating and making a mess all over the place as usual... hehe..
