TAIRVLYN: Rachel's Christmas present

papa & mama bought a SLIDE for Rachel as her Christmas present. it was actually papa's idea. he wanted to buy something cool & fun for his precious princess (i was initially thinking of buying something more educational for her.. haha...) ...papa said "hai yah, everytime also buy educational toys, once in a while must buy something cool la..something that she really enjoys la..". and we knew how much Rachel loves slides...so ok la, the slide it is! we went to Toys R Us twice to check out the slides and both times we let Rachel "test out" the slides (they had samples on display) there. She loved it! play until dont want to go home! haha.

Finally we purchased it from Toys R Us in QBay...unfortunately the promotion already ended, so we had to pay the normal price for it...it definitely aint cheap.

Rachel was taking her afternoon nap when we got home with the slide, so she didnt get to play on it immediately. But when she woke up from her nap, she was pleasantly surprised and extremely excited to see a brand new slide sitting in the living room! :):)
of course she immediately climbed up the slide, grinning away and slide down! up and down she went....

unfortunately, she got too excited while climbing up the stairs of the slide and was trying to turn around to look at me when she lost her balance and fell off the slide!! my heart dropped when i saw her fall and knock her head on the floor...poor girl, cried and cried and cried. thank God she was ok... no bruise or lump on her head.... after getting over the fall, she was back at the slide climbing up and sliding down!
