CNY 2009 - 2nd & 3rd day

2nd day of CNY (26th Jan 2009)
CNY lunch at my parents place. My mom cooked her yummy “tu thor th’ng”…of coz we had other dishes too, but the soup was the highlight. :)

After rachel woke up from her nap, we went to QY & Ruth’s house. Chui Ying & Mell met us there. Unfortunately Po Lin was busy so she couldn’t meet up with us. Rachel gladly helped herself with timothy’s toys while timothy entertained us with all his antics! He’s really a cheeky boy just like his father! Hahahaha. And little Joel is so cute, he was so excited to see so many people, kept on smiling and drooling at us while kicking vigorously in his little portable carrier. So cute…. (check out the photos below).
After that, Mell & us went to Angeline’s house. Rachel gladly helped herself to the homemade pineapple cookies and chocolate cake. Keep on eating non-stop!
Then we went home, changed then out of the house again to attend a CNY dinner at Goh Teo Kee restaurant in Sg Nibong with relatives. Wah, the restaurant was crowded with people, full house! Thank God my uncle made reservations (3 tables!). it was a good dinner.

3rd day of CNY (27th Jan 2009)
Darling went back to work today….he didn’t take any additional leave (trying to save leave ma). So Rachel and I spent the day at my parents place. Then in the evening, Po Lin called and wanted to meet up. So we went to her parents’ new place. I drove there with Rachel, and darling met us there after work. Mell & Angeline went too. it was our first time visiting the new place.. lovely and huge house......her parents designed the house from scratch!! Then went home for dinner and spent the rest of the evening resting at home.
